RELOAD recovers garments from unsold stock to give them a new life, with the commitment to reduce the environmental impact caused by the production of new garments. RELOAD tries to give a new life to something that was actually about to be forgotten, breaking rules and boundaries. RELOAD was born from a BRIEF shared with PRISM and YAMAMAY on the reuse of unsold garments in the warehouse In collaboration with the Universities, a didactic semester is proposed where students design a collection of clothes using the unsold items received The best designs are then chosen and produced in bulk by PRISM. With Prism they find a job and support to get back into the game We work closely with the Work Placement Office of the Municipality of Milan and Third Sector Entities to intercept vulnerable people. Over the last two years we have provided employment to 20 people from 15 different nationalities: Gambia, Guinea, Nigeria, Mali, Ecuador, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Georgia, Egypt, Albania, Bangladesh, Italy, Mexico, Hungary and Togo We are partners of several universities throughout Italy, both for the activation of curricular and extracurricular internships and for study and research projects on environmental sustainability We work with schools and technical institutes as corporate partners for school-work alternation and curricular internships. The repair process requires the Brand and RP (Repairing Hub) to evaluate the most common repairs, standardize them, codify them and establish their cost. Logistics are defined and training is provided to store staff. The customer brings the item to be repaired, the item is coded by customer and repair type, then sent to the RP to be repaired. After the repair, the item returns to the store and the customer.
