SUSTAINABLE FASHION & ETHICS

In a world increasingly accustomed to consuming, often neglecting the environmental and social impacts of production and consumption cycles, and in one of the sectors with the greatest impact such as textiles, the transition to sustainable and ethical fashion is becoming an always necessary and relevant need

Beauty cannot be built to the detriment of the well-being of those who produce it, nor can it result in the disfigurement of the environment. For this reason, the garments we produce combine a very high quality a production methods sustainable.

If for sustainability is a development that is capable of ensuring the satisfaction of the needs of the current generation without precluding that of future generations, and with the term ethics this refers to that set of norms and values that regulate the behavior of each person in relation to others, it follows that a sustainable and ethical fashion simultaneously looks at the impact that the production and distribution process of textile industry has both on the environment and on the conditions of workers and consumers.

In short, it is an industry that respects people equally people, environment and profit, in a system in which each part can only function if in synergy with the others, and in which the valorization of one part entails the valorization of all the others.

OUR COMMITMENT

At the basis of our production are the principles of circular fashion and slow fashion, thanks to which we are strongly committed to ensuring that the textile sector and the world of fashion bring about concrete social and environmental improvements. Each item we produce is hand-packaged by expert craftsmen whose work is valued as an expression of unique skills.

Thanks to the adoption of recycling and upcycling We make sure to reuse what would normally be discarded, so that even the final consumption chain returns to feed the production one, creating a virtuous circle that is self-sustaining and does not generate waste.

SLOW FASHION

With slow fashion we refer to a slow fashion that takes time and it's sustainable, in opposition to the consumerism of fast fashion, proposes production methods sustainable that value people and the environment, giving priority to quality on quantity.

RECYCLING AND UPCYCLING

Pillars of the circular economy are the recycling and upcycling processes. While recycling brings a material back to original properties, with upcycling the discarded good is transformed into a new object that has a higher value compared to the original.

CIRCULAR FASHION

Circular fashion is the extension of the concept of circular economy in the fashion sector. It involves designed and created on the basis of a sustainable production and consumption model, in which materials and products are recoveredrecycled and reused, reducing waste and emissions.

There coexistence of different origins, traditions and cultures from every corner of the world, merging with the key characteristics of the Made in Italy style, giving birth to garments unique in their originality.

The tailors we work with offer job opportunities to the most vulnerable, allowing us to help them by giving back, through a job opportunity, part of a dignity missing too many times, in addition to an economic independence.

Thanks to a tailoring process thatennobles leftover materials, we enhance a production that reduces the environmental impact of textiles, obtaining a virtuous circle that is self-maintaining and allows us to create a sustainable reality in terms of of the environment.
